The Grievance Management System is a brain child of the honorable ex-Chief Minister of Jharkhand. The system has been established to enable the local people of State of Jharkhand to channelize their grievance to the right medium. It promises to enable quick communication.
The Public Grievances Management System administers a comprehensive mechanism for the effective redressal of grievances received from members of the public. Incoming grievances / complaints are directed against the different departments under the jurisdiction of the Government of Jharkhand, its local bodies, undertakings / other organizations, owned or substantially financed by the Government of Jharkhand.

Functions of the Public Grievances Commission

The Public Grievance Management System works against acts of omission or Commission including cases of inaction or harassment or extortion or corruption or abuse of power and authority on the part of the officials of the departments of Government of Jharkhand and local bodies, autonomous organizations/undertakings and other institutions owned or substantially financed by the Government of Jhakrhand. This would also private institution falling under the territory of Government of Jharkhand.  The people at large from the State of Jharkhand will be able to lodge their Grievances through Telephone calls, Letters and emails.
